# Cursor Cloud Agents can now start without a GitHub repository

> Cloud Agents no longer require a connected GitHub account to begin development. Users can prompt the agent immediately, and Cursor creates an Origin repo in the background to save work when ready. The agent's live environment is also available for browser preview and can be published to Vercel.
