# Sora 2 and Sora 2 Pro API discontinued

> OpenAI is discontinuing the Sora API on September 24, 2026. Both models have been removed from the Image & Video model picker and will stop generating on that date. Existing generations remain available in history, but flows and templates using Sora nodes must be switched to another model like Gemini Omni 1.1 Flash.
