The .NET SDK now emits traces and metrics through System.Diagnostics without adding OpenTelemetry as a dependency. Instrumentation covers Auth, Postgrest, Storage, and Functions clients with operation-level detail and zero overhead when not collecting. This enables developers to observe SDK behavior within their application's distributed traces.
