# PostgreSQL 15.19 and 17.11 released with 44 CVE fixes and breaking changes

> Supabase rolled out PostgreSQL minor releases bundling security updates that may require action for users: ltree indexes may need reindexing on multibyte databases, pgcrypto legacy cipher decryption now fails by default, btree_gist indexes on float columns with NaN require reindexing, and custom operators with non-built-in selectivity estimators now require superuser privileges to recreate.
