# Supabase CLI v3 released with local-first defaults and hosted change confirmation

> Supabase CLI v3.0.0 is now installed by default and changes database commands to target the local stack by default (use --remote to reach hosted projects) and requires explicit confirmation for all hosted project changes. Most CI/CD pipelines require migration: unattended hosted changes need --yes flag, and the separate supabase-go executable is removed in favor of a single supabase command.
