Messages API adds on-demand conversation compaction feature

Developers can now compact long conversations on demand using the compact-2026-09-04 beta header, with the API returning a signed summary block that replaces original messages. This feature preserves recent turns word-for-word and maintains valid thinking blocks, enabling efficient management of long-running conversations without invalidating the prompt cache.
