Gemini 2.5 models retire in favor of Gemini 3.8 and 3.1
docs.lovable.devagent
The Gemini 2.5 Pro, Flash, and Flash Lite models are no longer available as of October 20, 2026. Requests for Gemini 2.5 Pro and Flash now route to Gemini 3.8 Flash, while Flash Lite requests go to Gemini 3.1 Flash Lite; these replacements may cost differently and respond differently, requiring you to verify your app still works as expected.
