Claude Opus 5.5 released with always-on thinking and inline tools

Claude Opus 5.5 offers 1M token context window, 128k max output, and always-on adaptive thinking at lower prices ($4/$20 vs $5/$25). Inline tools can now be defined in mid-conversation system messages, but thinking cannot be disabled, forced tool_choice unsupported, and computer use requires new toolsets.
